Most Malaysian small businesses have no website at all
ur.my is for small businesses, sole traders, home-based sellers, freelancers and professionals in Malaysia. A kedai runcit, a tuition centre, a tailor, a car workshop, a wedding photographer, a one-person agency. A registered Sdn Bhd and a home baker without SSM registration both fit.
Most of them live on a Facebook page, an Instagram grid and a WhatsApp number. None of those can be read properly by Google or an AI assistant, and none of them is yours. An agency site costs thousands of ringgit, and DIY builders want design skill, hosting, a credit card and English.
ur.my is our answer
Fill in a form and you are online at yourbrand.ur.my: no design skills, no hosting, no card. Every change is checked before it goes live, so the neighbourhood stays clean and a visitor can trust a .ur.my address. Every page is built for Google and AI assistants.
Everything is Malaysian by default: Bahasa Malaysia, WhatsApp, FPX and DuitNow, states and postcodes, PDPA notices. And the dashboard shows you the visitors, enquiries and keywords the site brings in, so the yearly renewal is a decision made on numbers.

You name the page. Each item has a fixed, from or ask-for price, up to five photos, an enquiry form, and shop links that read Buy on Shopee, Order on GrabFood or Book on Booking.com.

A deal badge such as 20% off, a start and end date, "Ends in N days", and a voucher code revealed on a click that you can count.
Digital business cards
One card per person: photo, name, title, and Call, WhatsApp, Email, Save contact and Share buttons, with a QR code to download. It follows your site's colours and fills a phone screen.
Enquiries and WhatsApp

The free plan is extended with one press from 30 days before its end. Paid plans add more of everything, your own domain and a directory boost.
Paid plans are paid one to three years ahead through HitPay, by FPX, DuitNow QR, card or e-wallet. No saved-card auto-charge, a receipt by email, and a 14-day refund window.
A site not renewed stays online for seven days with a notice, then 30 days suspended, then it is deleted and its address is free again.
What ur.my is not
It does a few things well. Check these before you start.
Not a drag-and-drop page builder
One theme, with your colours, fonts, header and logo. No custom layouts, pages, HTML, CSS or scripts, so no Google Analytics or Facebook pixel.
Not an online shop
No cart, checkout, stock, shipping or payment collection. Products show a price and link out to Shopee, Lazada, GrabFood or your own store.
Not hosting or a domain registrar
The ur.my address belongs to ur.my and is not a domain name. No mailboxes, DNS, file hosting or code deployment.
Not for businesses outside Malaysia
The Terms and the moderation policy require a presence in Malaysia. Serving customers abroad is fine.
Not for restricted trades
Adult content, gambling, drugs, weapons, counterfeits, scams and anything illegal in Malaysia are refused and count as strikes.
Not a team tool
One account owns an organization and its sites. No members, editors, roles or site transfers between accounts.
Not instant publishing
New and edited content on a free, unverified site goes live about an hour after the last save, once checked. Not for live scores or breaking news.
Not a booking, CRM or blog system
No appointment calendar, newsletter, blog posts or customer database beyond the enquiry inbox.

Is it really free?
Yes. The Starter plan costs nothing, with no ads and no hidden fees. You extend it once a year with one press, from 30 days before it ends, and an email reminds you.
Do I need SSM registration?
No. An organization on ur.my is a business or a person, so a registered Sdn Bhd and a home baker without SSM registration both fit. SSM verification is optional and free, and a verified organization shows its registered name with a tick in every footer and in the directory.
Can I use my own domain name?
On the Plus and Pro plans. A www. domain is proved by a TXT record and connected through Cloudflare, and your ur.my address redirects to it. Surf7 can register the domain for you.
Why does new content take an hour to appear?
Every text and photo change is checked against ur.my's policy about an hour after the last save, so a visitor can trust a .ur.my address. Only the refused fields come back, with the reason and an appeal line. Verified organizations and paid sites publish first and are checked just after.
Can I sell online?
Products show a price, photos and an enquiry form, and link out to Shopee, Lazada, GrabFood or your own store. There is no cart or checkout on ur.my. For a shop of your own, talk to us about a custom website.
Who owns the address?
ur.my does. The address cannot be sold, transferred or given email or DNS records, and it never changes while the site is renewed. One account holds up to three organizations with up to three sites each.
What happens if I do not renew?
The site stays online for seven days with a notice, then is suspended for 30 days, then it is deleted and its address is free again.
Is my visitors' data protected?
A short personal data notice in English and Bahasa Malaysia sits under every public form, as the Personal Data Protection Act requires. Turnstile guards every form, the pages set no cookies, and the email alert to you never carries the visitor's words.
